Local communities ad campaign
Without focusing on a donation ask, myself and the Marketing team planned an awareness campaign to connect with local residents close to our Chelsea and Sutton hospitals. The aim was to simply introduce them to who we are and what we do, aiming to spark curiosity and encourage them to learn more through our website.

The Process
After trialling multiple CTAs and approaches we landed on a question to lead our designs, helping to draw audiences in. I focussed on using our primary colour magenta and illustrative cells, both a key part of our brand identity, to help gain recognition amongst the community.
We decided on a mix of print and digital ads, creating bus shelter posters, paid social adverts and then expanding into the hospital with a physical material.

In-hospital awareness
Our Marketing department discovered that we needed to also raise brand awareness of the Charity within the hospital. Our regular materials around the hospital focus on fundraising and challenge events in the form of posters, leaflets and postcards.
We wanted to try a new material so I designed branded pharmacy bags for our in-hospital pharmacy. This ensured a large number of patients would come into contact with the Charity at some point during their journey at The Royal Marsden.
To connect with them we included a patient case-study and quote on the bag to make it a friendly introduction to who we are and how we support patients and the hospital.
